Regarding the decision of Std-10, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the government has decided to cancel the Std-10 examination in the interest of the health of the students as the vaccination of corona for this class of students has not been started yet.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the core committee chaired by the chief minister.Giving more details about the decision taken in the core committee meeting, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that mass promotion will be given to regular (regular) students of Std-10 in a total of 10,8 schools out of 12 government, 4 grant-in-aid, 21 self-finance and 6 other schools in the state. The government had earlier decided on April 15 to postpone the Std-10 and Std-1 board exams, which were scheduled to be held from May 10 to May 1, due to the transition of corona.
