The statement of Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has stated that the March 2024 examination of the candidates of Class 10 Sanskrit Prathama and Class 12 Science Stream and General Stream, Higher North Basic Stream, Vocational Stream, Sanskrit Madhyama will be conducted from 11 March 2024 to 26 March 2024. The syllabus of this exam is placed on the official website of the board WWW.GSEB.org. Class 10 and Class 12 science stream exam will be held from 11th March to 22nd March. However, the Gujcat exam conducted after Class-12 will be held on April 2. Apart from this, the time of class 10 will be the morning of the exam. So the exam time of class 12 science stream will be after noon. Gujcat exam will be held on 2nd April 2024. The date has been announced by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. There will be four subject exams in Gujkat. Physical science, chemical science, biology and mathematics exam will be conducted. Gujcat exam is very important for going into engineering and para medical branches after class 12 science stream. GUJCAT Exam will be held on Tuesday 02-04-2024 from 10 AM to 4 PM at District Level Centres.

In the decisions taken in the meeting, re-examination of all subjects of class-12 science stream will now be conducted in June-July. While students who have passed in class-12 science stream can retake all or as many subjects as they want to improve their results. Out of these two the exam result which is good will be accepted. Instead of one subject supplementary examination for students who failed in class-12 general stream, two subjects will now be conducted. At present, objective-oriented questions are 20 percent in the board exams of class-10 and class-12 general stream. Instead it will now be 30 percent and descriptive questions will be 70 percent instead of 80 percent. General option will be given in all questions instead of internal option in descriptive questions. While 50 percent MCQ will be retained in the board exam of class-12 science stream and 50 percent descriptive questions instead of internal option, it has been decided to give general option in all questions.
